    One clever witticism after another!

The sharpness of the writing more than covered any lapse in the action. While most dialogue in melodrama gives rise to groans, the dialogue in "Dirty Deeds at the Depot" is often genuinely funny and full of pithy philosophy. One clever witticism after another.
